WELLAN^®2000

Description of the problem:
After the high water cut development period of the oilfield in Dagang, the scaling phenomenon of the ground gathering pipeline is becoming more and more serious. The oil pump filter cylinder and the pump head are cleaned frequently because of scaling, and the average cleaning time is once every half month.

Solution：
In March 2011, the equipment has been running for nearly 6 months, and no treatment has been done. The special 6" WELLAN2000 ring was installed two meters up stream of the pump inlet.

Results:

The electricity consumption has decreased by 8% or so. The impeller has been clean without any scale as seen before WELLAN2000 installation. This has demonstrated that WELLAN2000 has been working effective on scale inhibition and scale removal leading to energy consumption reduction.
